Important info for 2011 Pass outs of JNTU-HYD
 We had started this posting in order to clarify few doubts that are in the minds of 4-2 (R07) students of B.Tech/B.Pharmacy. Go through the each & every points that are given below & if u still have any more doubts just reply here so that we will try to help u out.

Note : This posting is common for 4-2 (R07) ==> JNTU-HYD , JNTU-KAKINADA & JNTU-ANANTAPUR students.

Results
Results will be declared within 15 to 20 days after all the branches exams are completed.

Certificates that will be issued after 4-2 Results
After declaring the results JNTU will issue 4-2 indiviual memo, CMM, PC & OD.

CMM: Consolidated Marks Memo/credit sheet (which contains marks of all years)

Note:CMM,PC & 4-2 Memo will be issued within one week after declaring the results. You can collect them from your respective colleges.

Advance Supplies will be conducted only for 4-2 Semester Subjects.
The advance supplies will be conducted in selected colleges only (i.e., u need to write the exams only in colleges [centres] that will be issued by JNTU)

JKC- Online Assessment Tests for JKC 2011 pass outs - Instructions

As it was communicated earlier it is mandatory for all the JKC 2011 pass outs to appear for the 2 online assessment tests to be organized by JKC in order to get the eligibility to participate in any of the JKC recruitment events.
The first assessment test is opened for the candidates from 18th December 2010 till 01st January 2010, so you may login in to your respective account test portal and attend for the test accordingly. Please go through the following instructions to take the test
Note: 

Please note that this test is not to shortlist the candidates for any recruitment process. It is to give the students an opportunity to assess their performance on their own before they appear or any actual recruitment event so that they can work on those areas where they are lagging.
 Instructions for writing Exam

1) Login with your JKC Account UserID and Password on assessment test portal.
2) Once logged in you will get a menu
Please Select Services -> Overvie w of Exam from the Menu and click on it.You will get Instructions page.
3) In the Instruction Page if you click on Take Test button then your paper will be generated.
Note: Paper generation will take some time. Please be patient and do not close the window or do not refresh the window or do not click on Back button of browser, during the paper generation.
4) Once Paper generated, please check that you are having 60 questions and one submit button at the bottom of exam paper.
5) Answer all Questions by selecting corresponding Radio buttons and submit Paper.
Note: Once you submit your exam paper and if you get Marks means your paper submitted successfully, otherwise you can login again to check status of your exam.
6) While writing the exam if power failure or system shutdown then you have to take the test from first again. For this please login again to check status of your paper.

Failures in Step1:
a) If entered username or password are wrong or if the candidate is not a JKC 2011 pass out then you will get a message like Provided username or password incorrect ..... or not eligible to take test.
Failures in Step2:
a) If your paper crashed intimate us with Hall Ticket no and Message to jkc.onlineexam@gmail.com with subject line as ‘Paper Crashed’.
b) If you get message like Paper submitted successfully then your Paper Submitted correctly.
The result of the test would also be made available in the respective accounts of the students on JKC portal soon.

State plans shutdown of varsities from Jan 1

Hyderabad, Dec. 18: With the situation in universities once again threatening to turn volatile as the deadline for submission of the Srikrishna Committee report nears, the state government is planning to order a shutdown of all universities from January 1 to 25 in the name of “short-term vacation”.

Normally, the universities declare only a week’s holidays ahead of Sankranti. This time, all vice-chancellors will be directed to close down all hostels and messes to ensure that none of the students stay back in the campuses.

The “holidays” seem to be a necessity as the Osmania University, Kakatiya University and Telangana University were forced on Saturday to indefinitely postpone the postgraduate semester exams bowing to pressure from students who threatened to boycott and obstruct the exams, demanding the release of OUJAC leaders from the Cherlapally jail and withdrawal of all cases against students who participated in T-agitations.

According to official sources, the Governor and Chancellor of universities, Mr E. S.L. Narasimhan. has called an emergency meeting of all VCs on December 26 at the Raj Bhavan to discuss the issue and the measures to be taken to curb agitations and violence on campuses after the Srikrishna Committee report is submitted.

Sources said that the OU vice-chancellor, Mr Tirupati Rao, who is set to retire in three months, will be asked to step down as he failed to restore normalcy on campus since December last year. The government is considering appointing the former DGP, Mr Swaranjit Sen, in his place.
